St George's is home to a vibrant community of over a hundred active researchers and 470 academic teaching staff. Our research has been ranked first in the world in citations (research influence) Times Higher World University Rankings 2015-16 and fourth in the UK for Research Impact Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. Our research has also been featured in press and media across the world.
Our researchers are seperated into five world-class institutes; Cardiovascular and Genetics, Neurosciences and Cell Biology, Population Health Research, The Centre for Allied Health and Infection and Immunity - working both individually and collaboriatively to tackle some of the worlds biggest healthcare challenges.
