Open Spaces is a programme of academic modules, events and workshops that brings medicine, science and healthcare into dialogue with the humanities, arts and enterprise. It provides open and creative spaces for meaningful interprofessional encounters and exploring of ideas, identities and practice. Spearheaded by Deputy Principal (Education) Professor Jane Saffell and convened by Dr Deborah Padfield, artist and Lecturer in Arts and Health Humanities, the programme will develop over the coming three years into a comprehensive horizon-broadening co-curriculum for all St George’s students.
