SGUL assist SG Trust with the management of bookings in 3 lecture theatres.  The University is unable to offer teaching rooms  or meeting rooms for Trust activities.   If smaller rooms are required,  Trust staff are advised to contact the Rose Centre,  Education Centre or Atkinson Morley reception desk for options.

The properties of the 3 Trust lecture theatres are: 

John Parker Lecture Theatre        Capacity 65, flat, theatre style, Ground Floor, Atkinson Morley

Monckton Lecture Theatre           Capacity 361, tiered, theatre style, Ground Floor, Grosvenor Wing

Lecture Theatre F                         Capacity 150, tiered, theatre style, First Floor, Grosvenor Wing

For bookings in LT F, Monckton and John Parker Lecture Theatre  staff can use the Web Room Booking Service.

If you do not have a WRB login, you should email the University room booking team and access can be arranged.   To book a venue, you will require a start time, duration, size, description and date for the required booking.

If you are planning activities that requires users to access a computer in LT F or JPLT, Trust staff should bring their own laptops for this purpose.   There is a networked Trust PC available in Monckton Lecture Theatre.

The university is unable to provide IT support for activities or supply visitor logins.   NB:  SGUL is unable to provide support for AV issues for evening or weekend bookings. 

Cancellations

If any event is cancelled you should cancel your booking via Web Room Booking Cancelling a venue will allow the venue to be used by others.

Terms of use

  • Lecture Theatre space may not be used for bookings on behalf of external organisations (unless requested as a commercial activity to Trust Estates), meetings involving patients and/or their families or clinics. 
  • No food or drink, including alcohol, with the exception of bottled water are permitted in any of the lecture theatres.
