Graduate Outcomes is a national survey of all graduates 15 months after they completed their course. It gathers information and views about your journey after you left university. It helps inform prospective students about career prospects before they commit to a course and it help universities improve how they prepare students for their future careers.

Graduate Outcomes Cropped

Graduate Outcomes is a new, national survey of all graduates. Fifteen months after you graduated, you will be asked to complete the survey either by email or phone.

You’ll be asked whether you’re in employment, further study, exploring the world or something else. You’ll also be asked how you feel about your career and whether you are utilising what you learnt during your degree

Everyone who graduates after 1 August 2017 will be asked to complete the Graduate Outcomes survey.

We want to hear about your activities since graduation

Your response will help us to:

  • Inform prospective and current students about potential career paths
  • Review and improve how well we are preparing our students for their future careers
  • Maintain our position as #1 for graduate prospects in league tables

Make sure you are a part of the picture:

  • Keep your contact details up to date with our Alumni team
  • Keep an eye out for our Alumni messages which will remind of the date for the GOS
  • Respond to the survey when you get it.

Who runs Graduate Outcomes?

Graduate Outcomes is a government-run survey and has replaced the previous Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey (DLHE).

We are legally required to submit our alumni data to HESA, the Higher Education Statistics Agency. HESA supports the advancement of higher education by collecting and publishing reliable data about the sector. Find out more about Graduate Outcomes on the HESA website.
