The St George's Class of 2019 graduated on 18 July at a central London ceremony. During the day, 790 new scientists and healthcare professionals received their degrees. Here's what some of them had to say about why they chose to study at St George's and how they are feeling now it's over.

Nowshin Sultana, Biomedical Science BSc

"It’s such a close knit community. You don’t lose your identity here, it’s so small, it’s not like going to a bigger university where nobody knows your name."

Reyhan Pillai, Physiotherapy BSc

"There’s a good vibe being in London and what I really like about St George’s is how diverse the people are here."

Millie Pusey, Medicine BSc

"Part of the reason I chose to come here was because of St George's reputation for having a strong community feel and that's definitely what I've found."

Abdurahman Bareh, Medicine

"I have found it extremely beneficial to be in a hospital environment. It's made me a lot more confident and comfortable in my clinical years"

Bina Ram, PhD

"I arrived at St. George's in 2012, and my first impression was that it is friendly environment."
