I manage the Biological Research Facility Team and I oversee the financial and operational management of the new Zebrafish Unit and the delivery of services to research and teaching staff. My role encompasses strategic leadership in the BRF, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing training and competency programmes, managing information dissemination, and safeguarding animal welfare standards. I ensure that the Technical team provides the best possible support and environment for zebrafish research and teaching at the University while promoting a culture of care. I am also involved in the University's Working Groups that support the Training and Career Development of Research Staff at the University and enabling them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive Research Culture environment.
