Influencing widely - Through impact

We will increase our impact and influence by:

• increasing communication of our research both internally and externally
• supporting Early Career Researchers in public engagement activities by providing training, funding and opportunities where PhD students can take the lead
• providing information and support on the use of social media for research engagement
• promoting Open Science using open data deposition and open access publication, to increase the reach and impact of our research
• engaging the wider community by involving students and the general public in our research, to expand our knowledge base and to deepen their understanding of, and contribution to, the development of our research priorities
• developing partnerships with the public, private and third sector through enterprise, innovation, licensing, consultancy and contract research.
