The newly refurbished space (Hunter Wing, Level 5, Room 5.6) includes new equipment and furniture, including resuscitation, blood pressure, pelvic, rectal and breast examination equipment, ECG machines, neuro kits, and manikins i.e. antenatal manikins, to help students practice their clinical skills. Additional equipment, such as ear and eye examination equipment, catheterisation equipment, skeletons, stop clocks and charts will be available for students to use.
This new space will provide a secure, flexible, and self-directed learning environment for students receiving clinical skills teaching as part of their course. The space has been improved based on student and staff feedback and now includes increased space capacity, better quality equipment, enhanced security, and improved access facilities.

Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 9am to 10pm.
Weekends, 9am to 4.30pm.
Students can access and practice in the new space during these hours without booking in advance, however, a booking system will be launched soon.
