The Self-Assessment team is made up of staff and students who support, promote and help embed Athena SWAN principles into all activities, decision-marking, planning, and choices. LGBT staff network
A social and support network that also provides input into equality and diversity work at St George’s. All staff, regardless of their sexual orientation, are welcome to join this group. Race and Ethnicity Staff Network
The Staff Race and Ethnicity Network is open to staff from all ethnic backgrounds, including staff who are allies. All members of the Network are expected to be supportive of race equality. The Network also includes an additional internal group which is open to individuals who are from a minority ethnic background only. This group will meet separately from the main Network as a supportive space to raise and discuss relevant issues. Student Athena SWAN network

Interfaith forum

Access and participation steering group

Race Equality Action and Engagement Group
The Race Equality Action and Engagement Group (REAEG) was formed in April 2021. This group supports and monitors the delivery of the Race Equality Review recommendations as well as assessing progress across the agreed actions. The Group provides valuable input into the development and delivery of these actions and builds links between teams to facilitate implementation and engagement.
