OpenLabyrinth is an open-source web application that allows users to author and/or play educational or decision-based activities such as Virtual Patients (VPs)/Virtual Scenarios (VS). City St George’s School of Health & Medical Sciences uses OpenLabyrinth as the primary system for delivering virtual patients as part of its problem-based learning (PBL) sessions. The eLearning unit provides training on how to create and deliver VS in OpenLabyrinth. The system has been used in a variety of educational research projects such as WAVES, TAME etc.

If you would like to learn how you can use/create VS for your teaching and learning activities do get in touch with the eLearning Unit.  To find out more about developments of the system itself please refer to the OpenLaybrinth blog.
