About us
The Centre for Professional Education supports St George’s strategic aim to deliver life-long learning by overseeing the management of a dynamic portfolio of courses and modules that lie outside the traditional St George’s degree structure.
The Centre for Professional Education provides administrative support for staff developing short courses, as well as offering advice on approval, marketing and payment processes. We provide quality assurance for short courses, massive open online courses (MOOCs) and standalone modules under the direction of the Short Course Committee. Credit-worthy modules are validated by our undergraduate and taught postgraduate monitoring committees.
Our research-focused Frontiers in Human Health summer school launched in 2018, welcoming students from around the world to learn about major health challenges and novel approaches to improve their diagnosis and treatment.
