Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) has to be disposed of correctly, in accordance with a government directive to reduce the amount of WEEE incinerated or sent to landfill sites. A list of items that are classed as WEEE can be found here.
To dispose of an item, you need to fill out an online WEEE Waste Decontamination Certificate. You will receive an email confirming that the Certificate has been submitted, this needs to be printed and attached to the item for disposal.
