It is important you understand why this research is being done and what your participation in the study will involve.

The follow-up visit will be exactly the same as the previous visit, but shorter.

At the visit, the field researcher will begin by going through the study information leaflet and you can ask any questions. If you are happy to proceed, your consent to take part in the study will be obtained, and the researcher will then go through the questionnaire asking about your household, the area in which you currently live, and about your everyday activity. We take a simple measure of your height and body build and leave you with two small activity monitors on a belt to wear for seven days. A freepost envelope will be provided for you to return the belt in. The visit should last around 30-40 minutes, depending on how many people in your household are taking part.

The data from the monitors are very important for us to assess how people use their environment. As a thank you for wearing the monitors correctly for the full seven days, you will receive a £20 shopping voucher.

If there is anything you are unsure about, please ask!

If you would like any further information before our fieldworker comes to see you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

*All our fieldwork researchers are fully trained and carry ID badges with them at all times*
