Mobile Device Management
Mobile Device Management (MDM) is the administration of mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablet computers, and laptops. MDM is usually implemented with the use of a third-party product that has management features for particular vendors of mobile devices. The University has implemented an MDM service called Intune which ensures that staff mobile devices used for University business are compliant with University policies, especially Bring Your Own Device and Cloud policies, and secures the University IT environment against the possibility of cyber-attacks.
