St George’s is a member of the SCONUL Access scheme – a co-operative venture that enables staff, research students, full-time and part-time postgraduates, and distance-learning and placement students to borrow material from other higher-education libraries. The allowance is two books from the three-week loan categories. It also provides undergraduates with reference access to participating libraries.
