Layouts

The poster template is provided in PowerPoint format. It contains example layouts set in both 2 and 3 columns. Some boxes have been designed to resize to fit your text as you type. The designs are provided as guidance for best practice. Feel free to change them as you see fit.

The posters use the Arial font, which is available on all St George’s machines and is free to use.

Best practice for creating posters

When creating posters please consider the accessibility needs of your audience.

Make sure that your headings and text are clearly legible from a distance, by using a large font size and ensuring your text colour has high contrast with your background.

When using images, please ensure that you have obtained the rights to reproduce them, or that they are copyright free.
