St George’s, University of London has contracted Science Warehouse Limited (SWL) to host our e-marketplace – a friendly web interface for our electronic catalogues, which list goods and services at competitive prices agreed with strategic suppliers.
SWL's advance search technology is designed to ensure users find the right products for their needs as quickly as possible by entering keywords, product names, catalogue numbers, scientific terms or formulae to click and search across all products simultaneously.
All products are assigned to product categories and mapped to local manufacturing coding as well as an international classification system such as UNSPSC (the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code) and linked to our own Agresso internal product coding system.
We currently have 46 strategic suppliers on SWL and aim to increase this number to provide users with competitive prices and a wider choice of products.
