Virtual Biomedical Science BSc Mini Taster Lecture

About the event

This virtual event will give you the opportunity to experience two mini taster lectures, each 20 minutes long, delivered by academics from our Biomedical Science BSc degree.

The first taster lecture will delivered by Senior Lecturer Dr David Gillott, and will provide an overview of the structure of the heart and explain the basic cardiac functions. The systemic and pulmonary circulation are outlined along with electrical conduction though the heart, the ECG and heart sounds.

There will be an opportunity for attendees to interact during the event, when we open the floor for questions via the Q&A function.
