About the event

Celebrate Black History Month over a warm cup of coffee! This event is dedicated to exploring and diversifying our reading lists with books by Black authors and stories that highlight Black experiences.

Bring a book, article or an object related to Black History that has inspired you or you would like to read or simply come along to hear from others!

Anna El-Jouzi, Liaison Librarian will be present to chat about ways of diversifying your reading list using the Library's Inclusive Education Wakelet.

This is an event designed to thoughtful conversations, learning from each other’s experiences, and gathering practical tips for discovering and embedding Black voices and experiences into the curriculum.
