About the workshop
Is your research making, or could make, a significant, tangible difference outside of academia, either locally, regionally, national or internationally? Do you have a plan for achieving this or is there a clear opportunity for a societal need to be addressed through your research? Is the impact you are making at an advanced stage and you would like to know more about how to evidence and communicate it?
To get started, we are holding some informative training sessions lead by City St George’s Impact Manager, Helen Wright on 16 October. Helen is a very experienced research impact manager and has led on developing impact in the last two REF cycles.
In these workshops we will cover:
- Introduction to Research
- Impact Impact and the REF
- How to evidence your Impact
These sessions are suitable to all wishing to engage in impact. In addition there will be the opportunity to book one to one sessions with Helen to discuss and get feedback on your own work and experiences.
To book a one to one appointment, please email Betty Woessner to book a slot between 10am and 12pm.
