Society is being held hostage by COVID-19 and we need new treatments to help us get back to normal. In this lecture Professor Emma Baker, co-director of St George’s Clinical Pharmacology BSc, will describe the exciting progress that has been made so far in developing vaccines and medicines against SARS-CoV-2 and talk about careers in drug development and research.
