About this event
This virtual event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams platform, and will give you the opportunity to experience two mini taster lectures. Each taster lecture will be 20 minutes long and will be delivered by Academics from our Clinical Pharmacology BSc Degree.
Clinical Pharmacology improves patient care through the safe and effective use of medicines, from understanding diseases, to identifying possible new drugs, organising testing, clinical trials, and licensing.
The profession is needed more than ever before as we race to find new drugs and vaccines in the fight against new infections and diseases. Clinical pharmacologists are in high demand and have been described by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) as ‘one of four scientists that save the world every day’.
