A career in health is hugely rewarding, but with so many course options to choose from it can be difficult to know where to start!

Are you interested to know more about the type of work experience that is required for your healthcare or medicine application? This webinar will provide you with information about why universities ask for work experience, which types of experience are useful and how you can reflect on this experience to make your university application as strong as it can be.

The session will be delivered by Jennifer Harrison, Student Recruitment Officer at St George’s. During this webinar you will also hear from current healthcare students about useful resources and tools you can use order to gain insight into clinical roles and work experience alternatives during the current Covid-19 pandemic.

St George’s “Explore” webinar series is for Year 12 students currently exploring university course options. The webinars provide a broad subject overview to help you with your decision-making As the UK’s specialist health university, St George’s is uniquely positioned as a leading expert in healthcare education. We have been improving health for over 250 years and share our site with St George’s Hospital, the home of Channel 4’s Baby Surgeons and 24 Hours in A&E. If you choose to study at St George’s you will be immersed in a professional environment from day one while learning from practicing clinicians working on the frontline.
