Recent Biomedical Science graduates: Don't forget to sign up for this year's Biomedical Science Summer Careers Festival.
Join us to explore career options and learn more about internships, placements and graduate roles from our alumni and top recruiters. The event will provide plenty of opportunity for students and recent graduates to engage with recruiters and volunteer organisations, and also to network with one another.
If you are interested in attending or sharing your career journey at this event, please contact Dr Androulla Elia, the academic lead for BMS employability, or look out for more information on the St George's Biomedical Science Careers page on LinkedIn.
Those sharing their career path will be offered their own stand at the event. Alumni of all career paths are welcome to get in touch, and we would particularly welcome those from finance, teaching, scientist training programmes, forensics or other interesting pathways.
Some of our Class of 2002 Medicine graduates are holding a reunion at St George’s on Friday 12th May to celebrate 21 years since graduating and would love for you to join them. Alumni from all courses, and from the years above and below, are very welcome.
The event will be held at the Students’ Union bar from around 7pm onwards (details to be confirmed) and will be a great chance for you to catch up with old classmates and meet others who graduated in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
If you’d like to join them for drinks, music and reminiscing, you can book a place here.
The group hopes to organise a buffet from a local curry house at the start of the evening, if there is enough interest. Please contact alumni@sgul.ac.uk for more details.
