After taking on a number of diverse roles after graduating, Physiotherapy alumnus Matt Owen completed the TeachFirst Leadership Development Programme and now works as a Maths teacher in the North West of England.
Matt says, “My career has been long and winding, with some incredible adventures along the way. I have worked in a South African youth detention centre, a ski resort, on a remote Hebridean Island and even as the St George’s Students’ Union President for 12 months.
“I managed to sneak a year away from the classroom last year – cycling over 9,000 miles from Sydney, Australia to Guwahati India.”
