Intercalated BSc Funding

This page contains a list of the funding available to students undertaking intercalated BSc degrees. Visit their websites for more information about eligibility criteria and how to apply. 

• The Association of Clinical Pathologists Student Research Fund: awards up to £5,000 for undergraduates undertaking research in laboratory medicine. 

• British Association of Dermatologists Intercalated Degree Grant: up to £3,000 available for students with an intercalated degree involving a project related to dermatology and/or skin biology. 

• The British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology : bursary programme of up to £5,000 for medical students undertaking intercalated degrees in neuroscience research.  

• Guts UK Charity—Dr Falk Awards: awards that recognise achievements of those who bring new insight into gastroenterology and hepatology. 

• Institute of Medical Ethics : scholarships up to £2,000 to support students looking to undertake an intercalated degree in Medical Ethics. 

• The Pathological Society: an annual sum to support undergraduate students looking to undertake an intercalated degree (either BSc or MRes/MSc). The grant covers fees up to £9000, plus £4500 stipend and £1500 towards consumables. 

• Royal College of Surgeons: grants for undergraduate students looking to undertake an intercalated bachelor of a science degree related to surgey.
