St George’s celebrated its annual Research Day on Wednesday 11th December. The day showcased the hard work, latest findings and achievements from the vibrant research community.
Your gift to St George’s will inspire our students, our research, and our community, and ultimately impact the patients who will benefit from the care and expertise of our graduates around the world.
Enjoy stories of impact and support from generous donations.
Each programme of study has a Schemes of Assessment (SoA) for each major stage (e.g. year) or module, as defined in the regulations. These documents specify the assessment structure of the stage/module, progression and passing requirements, and other relevant policies and procedures which are followed.

MBBS Students
If you are an MBBS student graduating in the academic year 2024-25 or beyond, you'll need to have a degree that includes passing the Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA) before you can join the medical register.
St George's is working with the General Medical Council regarding what this will be, and affected cohorts will be given more information as soon as we have it.
In the meantime, more information can be found on the GMC's website.
