I am a Senior Lecturer and Senior Physician Associate, having qualified from St George’s, University of London, in 2016. Since then, I have worked in primary care, developing specialist interests in hypertension, anticoagulation, and overseeing Physician Associate student placements.
In 2019, I joined the MPAS education faculty at City St George’s University, where I now lead Problem-Based Learning and Applied Pharmacology. I am passionate about pharmacology education and medicines safety, ensuring that students develop a strong foundation in clinical pharmacology and its safe and effective application. My contributions to pharmacological academia include curriculum development, research, and national presentations on innovative teaching strategies in pharmacology education.
Beyond my teaching, I am committed to educational leadership and innovation. I have led the development and training of PBL facilitators, enhancing small-group teaching quality and student engagement. My work has influenced teaching practices both within City St George’s University and nationally, particularly in active learning strategies and interprofessional education.
Alongside my academic role, I continue to practise clinically two days a week, maintaining a strong connection between education and real-world practice. I am also actively involved in shaping PA education at a national level, contributing to discussions on curriculum development and best practices in medicines safety.
