Dr Elizabeth Taylor, MA(hons), MSC, PGDip OT, SROT, FHEA.
Centre for Allied Health

I am Professional Lead/Head of Section for Occupational Therapy within the Centre for Allied Health at St George's, University of London.

My professional background is in Occupational Therapy. I have had a wide range of clinical roles, but mostly specialised in stroke rehabilitation. I have also worked as a Head of Occupational Therapy at an NHS Trust.

My research to date has focussed on stroke rehabilitation. My studies have looked at health inequalities and equity of access to rehabilitation for non-English speakers; unintended consequences of policy and audit; implementation of tools to support rehabilitation; and experiences of stroke and brain injury survivors engaging in a remote performance arts programme.
