Iva Ricko

Iva had graduated from University of Applied Health Sciences in 2009. with a BSc degree in Occupational Therapy. She obtained her Masters' degree in Physiotherapy in 2018. Additionally, she received a BA degree in Applied Management from Henley Business School, University of Reading in 2022.  

She has extensive clinical and senior managerial experience within the public and private healthcare sector. Having worked as Lead Student Coordinator for Occupational Therapy students has allowed Iva to gain wider experience in teaching to variety of students on placement.

Research has been a part of her professional and academic career for many years. This encouraged Iva to enrol onto a Ph.D. programme in Disability Studies at the Rehabilitation and Education University in Zagreb, Croatia.  

Iva was proud to be presented with awards for 'The Most Inspiring and Innovative Allied Health Professional' in 2020 and 'Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist of The Year' in 2019.
