Dr Buxton is a Senior Lecturer in Primary Care at St Georges University of London and practices as a GP in South West London

She is the Academic Lead for the Early Years Clinical Experience placements in years one and two of the MBBS5 Medicine curriculum.

She is the joint Course Director for the Year 3 iBSc Module in Primary Care - Complexity and Diversity, for the Biomedical Sciences degree at SGUL.
