I am interested in environmental research, in particular the health effects of outdoor air pollution. I have conducted studies of both long- and short-term exposure to air pollution using databases from ONS, NHS Digital and Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD). I am also active in systematic review and meta-analysis in environmental epidemiology conducting reviews for Defra, WHO and the US Health Effects Institute.
I contribute to teaching of statistics, epidemiology and research methods on the MBBS 5 year and Healthcare Sciences courses at St Georges, University of London
