Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography
Senior Lecturer and Module Leader
Centre for Allied Health

I am senior lecturer in the diagnostic radiography with a decade of clinical experience. I am the lead for the 3rd year clinical module which assesses our student's clinical competency portfolio and teaches advanced radiography skills.

Additionally, I am the deputy practice educator for the student placements.

I specialised in clinical reporting including the appendicular skeleton, axial skeleton, adult chest x-rays and abdomen x-rays.

As a senior radiographer, I rotated into CT, interventional, cardiac imaging, fluoroscopy, theatre radiography, A&E conventional radiography and general conventional radiography.

During my clinical career, I was also a PACS/RIS manager.

I am the lead for the Clinical Competence and Practice Module for 3rd year diagnostic radiography students.

I primarily teach image interpretation, radiographic technique, anatomy & physiology.

Teaching will also include but is not limited to professional values, ethics, clinical skills, professional key skills, research papers, academic writing, science and technology.

Alongside teaching responsibilities, I am a clinical liaison tutor for two of our clinical partner sites for the students. This includes providing pastoral care and educational support for the students on placement.
