I am Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience at the Department of Neurosurgery.

I graduated from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (MSc, PhD) in Neurobiology and was Wellcome Trust post-doctoral research fellow at the University of California at San Francisco.

My research interests are aquaporins water channel proteins, neuromyelitis optica and spinal cord injury.
