I qualified as an occupational therapist in South Africa in 2003. I have worked as an occupational therapist in a range of settings in South Africa and the UK, predominantly in paediatrics. Prior to joining St George's, University of London, I completed an MSc through Ulster University whilst working in an NHS children's Occupational Therapy service as a Clinical Team Lead.
I joined the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences based at St George's, University of London as a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy in 2018. I am currently Year 1 lead and admissions tutor for Occupational Therapy. I really enjoy being involved in module development and teaching on modules in each year of the programme. I am currently module lead for two of these modules.
