I support the Director of Information Services in delivering IT and Library services to staff and students at SGUL.

The Library is a vibrant hub providing access to a huge range of print and online resources (both onsite and remotely) as well as zoned study spaces to support all types of student learning.  We provide over 100 open access workstations next to the Library (with additional PCs on Level 5, Hunter Wing and Level 1, Jenner Wing).  In addition the Library loans laptops for use in the Library.

I represent Information Services and the Library at a number of institutional committees.  The Library works hard to try and improve services to ensure that our students have an excellent experience here.

We also support research with our expert Research Services Team.  They manage our research support systems and can advise on open access and data management.

We also provide Library and Knowledge Services to our colleagues in our local NHS Trust.

I convene the Shared Connections Working Group which works with our Athena SWAN Self Assessment team to support colleagues in Professional and Technical Services roles through a range of activities including an annual development day.
