She is a practicing clinician and works as a part time General Practitioner in a busy London Practice.
She completed her medical education at St Georges Hospital medical school and was awarded a merit for clinical skills on graduation.
She has passed the Royal College of General practitioners exam and also the Diploma in Family planning.
She has a wide skills base and worked as a clinical assistant in dermatology for over 15 years at Croydon University Hospital.
She is lead for mental health and learning disability at her GP practice.
Alongside her medical career She is a scout leader at a local scout group helping teenagers develop essential life skills and a mother to 3 teenage children.
