Posters will be judged on the finished product, and not just the abstract.  As such you will need to upload your poster(s), using the below instructions.

How to upload your poster

A PDF of your poster must be uploaded via SharePoint or the QR code for judging purposes by Friday 22 November 2024.

How to print your poster at St George’s Print Room

Download and complete the A0 portrait poster template (PPT) to create your poster.

Posters will be printed in size A0 and portrait. They must be in a PDF format for the Print Room to print.

There will be £40 charge each to print from the St George's Print Room. Please provide a working St George's or NHS budget code to cover this, otherwise your poster will not be printed. If posters are nor paid for with a budget code, they need to paid for by card at the Digital Services Reception (Level 0, Jenner Wing, Near Pret) before being printed. Payment by card costs £40 + VAT.

To submit your poster please send it via email to graphics@sgul.ac.uk.

By submitting your PDF to the Print Room you agree that you have checked the finished product, agree to the print and that you will be charged for poster(s) printed.

The deadline for sending your poster to the Print Room is Monday 25 November 2024.

How to display and remove your printed A0 portrait poster

Posters will be displayed in both the Alistair Hunter Room and the Boardrooms (H2.5, H2.6, H2.7, H2.8) in Jenner Wing, Second Floor.

You will be able to display your poster between 1pm and 4:30pm on Tuesday 10 December, and there will be someone on hand to direct you to your poster board.

Posters will be available to be removed between 2:30pm and 3:30pm on Wednesday 11 December. Please be prompt in collecting your poster.

Poster judging

Prior to Research Day abstracts and posters will be reviewed to find the top 3 from both undergraduate and postgraduate categories. The Chrissie Fenske category will review all others and the top 5, plus top 6 (undergraduate and postgraduate), will be judged for the 3 category winners on the day.

The judging session for the posters will take place between 11:40am and 2:30pm.

All categories of poster will be judged by a panel, entrants can win only one poster prize.

Awards will be presented in The Curve from 3:15pm to 4:15pm.
