Tara Nasreen, Administrative Officer (Research events and communciations)
I work Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri.
I am responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of the Research Events and Communications Team. I currently line manage two administrative assistants. We provide extensive support to various research events across the University including but not limited to, Research Day, Research Culture Day, InterTB, and Jenner Day alongside coordinating seminars for the four research institutes.
Angela Mason, Administrative Assistant – (Research events and communications)
I work Wednesday and Friday (Weds office-based)

Responsibilities:
- Advertising weekly seminars for the three Research Institutes, producing and distributing programmes, liaising with academic staff and speakers and producing and distributing a weekly seminar bulletin.
- Assist with the organisation of various events i.e, booking rooms, ordering catering and equipment for the three Research Institutes. This includes, events such as St George’s annual Research Day, and Research Institutes’ annual research named days, such as Jenner Day and InterTB Symposium.
- I produce and distribute bi-monthly newsletter for the MCS Research Institute.
- Maintain and update webpage content relating to events, SGRQ, GAT and Research Operations directorate.
