I am office based Wednesday and Friday.
I am responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of the general support administrative team. My role is to ensure that all CAGs, Research Institutes and the Research Operations Directorate receive equitable support in line with our strategic objectives. In addition to this I manage the 3T MRI scanner research scan booking system, costings, and communications in close collaboration with our finance officer. I work closely with the Head of Administration and the Research Operations Director to promote our team's services and support, and to ensure that our efforts align with the broader goals of St George’s, University of London. As part of this effort, I supervise a team of skilled administrators who are dedicated to providing exceptional support and service to our colleagues.
I work Mon-Fri (Tues, Wed, Thurs office-based).
As one of the general administrative assistants within the Research Operations Directorate, I enjoy my role not only by supporting the Directorate and CAGs but also with general day to day administrative duties including coordinating the Infection and Immunity CAG newsletter.
I provide extensive support to the Infection and Immunity Clinical Academic Group (CAG) Director and Neurosciences Clinical Academic Group (CAG) including servicing CAG Steering Group meetings and related administrative work to support developing CAGs. In addition, I provide interim support to the Genomics Clinical Academic Group (sgul.ac.uk) Director. I deliver a high-level PA service to Research Institute Directors to support their Research Institute including administrative support for the Research Operations meetings.
