When submitting your application, please note that
-
You must have accepted St George's as your Firm offer to apply for a room.
-
When registering, please ensure that you use the same name you have provided on UCAS for your details to be regoznised on the system.
-
It can take up to 72 hours from the date you have firmed your offer before you can proceed to apply for accommodation.
The contract will correspond with your course dates. For most first year undergraduates this is from 21 September 2024 to 5 July 2025, but please make sure to check for your specific course.
It is important to note that the majority of our flat types are mixed gender.
You are welcome to state your flatmate preferences and requirements, however as rooms are subject to availability, they cannot always be guaranteed.
If your requested room type is not available, a member of the Accommodation team will be in touch if there is a potential alternative.
Once your application has been received, we will send you an email confirmation. If you are a new student to St George's, and your application has been received before 1 July 2024, you will be guaranteed a room for the year.
First-year graduate students on full-time taught postgraduate programmes (including Graduate Entry Medicine) will be prioritised if they have applied by the 1 July 2024 deadline and if they have not previously studied at undergraduate level in the London.
We will be sending room offers to applicants in late August 2024. If you are expecting A Level results you will not receive your room offer until after results day.
Once you have received your room offer, you will be asked to login to the accommodation portal to accept the terms and conditions of the licence agreement, and make a pre-payment of £150. This will be deducted from your first instalment of accommodation fees.
Please make sure to check your offer before accepting; once you have agreed to this, you are signed into a contract for the year.
Once you have accepted your room offer, you will find further information about what you can find in halls and what you need to bring on our Halls of Residence pages.
Arrival dates
Our biggest arrivals weekend will be 21 to 22 September 2024. We will be in touch nearer your start date where you will be required to book an arrival slot to receive your arrival instructions.
Changing your room allocation
We are not able to change allocations once they have been made. We do take into account each application, and make an offer on the basis of availability.
Rejecting your offer
If you decide to reject the room you have been offered, you will need to submit a new application, which will not be considered until all other unallocated students have been made an offer.
We use these flats on open days and offer holder days throughout the year If you are allocated a room in a show flat, you will be asked to sign a contract with further details and will be provided with the dates of the event days.
Please note, both show flats will be on the ground or first floor. Students can also apply to be offered a room in one of the show flats.
