If you are renting privately and you have any concerns about the contract you have signed, the condition of the property you have moved into, tenant fees, eviction or problems with your landlord/ estate agent you can find more housing advice and support below.
University of London Housing Services
The University of London provide housing services that our students can access for free. There’s helpful information on private renting , finding different types of accommodation or how to make an appointmentwith a Housing Advisor for legal advice, including landlord disputes.
There is a handy contract checking guide, however once you have found a property, we strongly recommend that you make an appointment to check your housing contract before signing or making payments. You can also attend their Housing Events when advertised.
Please note that there may be some issues the ULHS are unable to advise on, such as disputes with other students registered with their service.
