There are a range of funding opportunities available to postgraduate students designed to contribute to tuition fees and assist with the cost of living while you are studying.
You will find tuition fees listed on the ‘Fees and funding’ tab of each course page. All students are advised to check their eligibility for financial support with the relevant funding provider(s).
Tuition fees are charged for each year of your course (unless stated). Fees for second and subsequent years are likely to increase annually in line with UK inflation as measured by the Retail Price Index (RPI-X). They will not normally increase by more than 5 per cent each year, except when the rate of inflation is significantly more than that projected in the preceding year.

The Postgraduate Master’s Loan is designed to be a contribution towards the costs associated with undertaking a Master’s course.
Eligible students can apply for a Postgraduate Master’s Loan of up to £12,167 for the course to help towards tuition fees and living costs. The funding, available through Student Finance England, may also be available to students who are completing an intercalated year at Master's level.
You do not have to start repaying this loan until your income is over the threshold amount for your repayment plan.

Please note that if you are studying Occpuational Therapy (Pre-registration) MSc or Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) MSc you should apply for the undergraduate package of student finance and the NHS Learning Support Fund (more details below).
If you have a disability, long-term health condition, mental health condition or specific learning difficulty (for example dyslexia) you may be eligible to apply for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). Eligible students can receive DSA on top of any other student finance received. DSA is non-income assessed and does not need to be repaid.
