Criteria
In general, Clinical Teaching Fellow postholders are fully GMC registered doctors, who also hold Membership in their chosen specialty - for example MRCP/MRCS/MRCGP/MRCPaeds/MRCPsych. There may be flexibility with this, depending on the specific role applied for.

Clinical Teaching Fellows are mostly employed by our partner hospital sites (funded through the Undergraduate Medical Tariff clinical placement remuneration to trusts from Health Education England, and as confirmed by St. George's, University of London). Posts are routinely advertised via NHS Jobs. Search for 'Clinical Teaching Fellow' roles on the NHS Jobs website - NHS Jobs, filtering results by trust and hospital site.
There are a small number of Clinical Teaching Fellow posts that are employed directly by St. George's, University of London. These roles are funded through the Higer Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
