The 13th Annual London Ventricular Tachyarrhythmia Symposium is an in-person event, which will include speakers and discussions from international experts in the field of ventricular arrhythmia.
The event will be held in central London, and chaired by St George's, University of London.Delegates will be provided a certificate of attendance, and the course has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 6 CPD credits.
Lunch and refreshments will be included in the price of your ticket.
Why join the Symposium?
- Attendees will be upskilled in the latest VT mapping and ablation techniques, improve their understanding of the current thought on pathophysiology of ventricular arrhythmias and identify the optimal management strategies for specific subtypes of this family of arrhythmias.
- Attendees will gain insight into best practice in VT ablation and how to successfully prepare for and plan the ablation procedure using the correct combination of history, electrocardiography and imaging.
Objectives
- Introduce the concept of intramyocardial and epicardial VT sites of origin and discuss the techniques of epicardial VT mapping and ablation
- Discuss the expanding role of pre-procedural imaging for substrate characterization and establish methods for, and introduce novel techniques of, VT site of origin identification
- Identify the patient suitable for VT ablation
- Highlight the importance of adequate pre-procedural patient preparation and image acquisition
- Provide a forum for institutions in the UK with a special interest in VT to meet and discuss collaborative projects and present their work
