Online staff profiles act as your own personal website about you and your role at St George’s. All members of staff have an online profile – but it is up to you how you wish to use it and how comprehensive you make it.
By default, your profile is only available to internal website users who are on the university network or logged into the site. They will contain only minimal information – your name, institute or department, job title, email address and phone number.
But you can add much more to your profile, as well as set it as visible to external website visitors, like prospective students, staff and alumni. You can opt not to display your phone number and email address to external visitors.
We recommend that you do add to your online profile and set it as externally visible. It will help you promote your research or professional expertise, and will showcase the diverse, vibrant community at St George’s to our visitors.
