Our skills and experience cover three administrative branches:
Our experienced staff will support you with organising research events and distributing communications to the research environment. In addition we provide administrative support to the George’s Academic Training (GAT) team, and the St. George’s Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ).
Our experienced team help manage your research in terms of funding (with the JRES), purchasing consumables and services, and your travel requirements.
Our experienced team of administrators provide extensive administrative support to the research community within St George’s.
Cheryl Watson, Head of Administration and Executive Officer to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise)
I work Monday to Thursday.
I manage and lead the whole administative team in the provision of an effective administrative service for the St Geroge’s research environment. I have oversight of the three administrative branches and work closely with colleagues in the Research Operations Directorate and other University professional services to ensure seamless delivery. My role includes anticipating/troubleshooting challenges to service delivery, and supporting academic colleagues with administrative queries. I also am the Executive Officer to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise), which means I have been involed with the development of University strategic research and policy planning, as well as his diary management.
